Who cares about Mies's "less is more", or even Venturi's "less is bore"... Just go Morris Lapidus "Too much is never enough!"

How about new lfgss logo fade with sparkle and those ever so subtle calipers?

make that bb pink more red and you've got the unlikely collab team frame of RCC x Brixton CC

@veLLo if we're sticking to architects, how about a full-powered Freddy Mamani tribute?!
@jontea I like the way you think, sir.
In other news, the tubes are already in stock so it'll be costly to switch to an ISP as I'll still have to pay for the original ST unless they can use it in another build.
And let's face it, this paint / them clown brakes ain't looking cheap either. Something will have to give, and it'll probably be the ISP.

Whilst I'm here, does anyone have experience of Mavic carbon clinchers?
Thinking of using the CXP Pro UST rims and was wondering about braking performance etc.

I had a pair of Cosmics a few years ago- liked them and in hindsight shouldn’t have sold them. Wet braking with the Exalith treatment was good (by the admittedly low bar of carbon rims in the rain; probably better to say on reflection that they weren’t terrifying) and seemed to hold speed well. Not light iirc, though how much of that was hubs and spokes I don’t know.

i think it is what is used on the comete range, albeit deeper.

I would but Krusty won't hear of it.

Thanks for the info... I think I read somewhere the bulk of the weight with Comics was (oddly) in the skewers. Rim-only weight for the CXPs is apparently 430g, which should make for a lightish wheelset with the right hubs etc.
Glad to hear they're not totally awful anyway : )

What did you make of braking on those?

i think the mavic tubeless shape is really good. and i wouldn't worry about braking or durability, it would be in the top bracket of carbon rims.
a friend has the cometes and he never particularly mentionned poor braking.
personnally i think they look great, and in my experience its the hubs that let down mavic wheels -

how about a full-powered Freddy Mamani tribute?!
Yes! (I confess I had to Google him).
You're better at colors though... -

So did I!
And thanks man : ) -

I got some of the Light Bicycle rims with the Graphene do-dah on them. Braking is significantly better than my Zipps or my Mavics.

Got 32h and running with Campag Record hubs.
