LBS recommendations

Hello,

A good pal of mine is moving to Levenshulme and asked if I could recommend a new LBS. Can anyone with knowledge of the area help with a recommendation please?

Will's Wheels just down the road in Heaton Chapel were good for me when I used to work in the area

Welcome them to the Levy massive, I work most of the week at Harry Hall's and one day with RevolveMCR, both can be of help I'm sure.

Yeah wills wheels have been good from my limited experience with them, we’re also getting a cycle cafe/workshop a la LMNH called station south which should be nice!

Yeah, You’d have thought so, it seems to be taking a while but I guess it’s a listed building and is being restored in some manor.

There's a fair amount of work going on and I'm pretty sure Covid hasn't helped, I'm hearing rumours of soon though

Yeah, I've been working there for 3 months or so.

Maybe you helped me the other week when I came in struggling to set up my tubeless wheels and someone encouraged me to keep trying with my track pump. Was on the verge of giving up and finally got them both on!

Did you have a leak and I went through patching it from the inside?

Has anyone used Fawkes cycles in Oldham? They came up with decent prices for a few things I'm looking for. I'd not heard of them before so was just wondering if they have a good reputation?

I use them a bit via mail order, as they are always very competitively priced when it comes to Vittoria tyres, and the service is always good.
