Why would anyone throw something like that away? I love the paint! Looks in great condition too. Deda Murex stem would imply a late 1990s early 2000s frame so I'd keep it retro, and silver.

Wow, I wish I drove past people chucking out Moser frames! That my friend is a top result! I'm sure whichever way you build it up, it will be stunning. Good luck.

Wow, that looks mint. Amazing what people will throw away, but I guess to most people it’s just an old fashioned bike frame.

i love those 90's era chunky frames - it's a bit like one of those Rossin performance frames .
Total win.

Lovely alumini(i)um frame!
Light and stiff.

It might be too big... need to compare it against my concorde at home but I put my wheels on it just now and although I had 28s on it, its a little tight for standover.

what a find! interesting stepped downtube - a particular feature on Moser frames or some obscure tubeset?
-

Aha... mystery solved. Cleaned it properly so I could see paint chips etc and what looked like a deep scratch in the paint is a bloody huge crack from the downtube and half way around the BB. going on the wall then :)

ah no! what a shame!
still a nice piece of wall art anyway I guess
Driving to work I drove past some bloke putting a stack of bike bits out on the footpath. Stopped for a chat as I know it's "random crap for the tip" collection week and the bloke told me that the bikes had belonged to his father who passed away and that he'd kept, given away or sold everything he wanted so this stuff was for the tip and I was welcome to it.
Mostly it was of no interest but this Moser frameset looked like it might fit... know nothing about it so not sure whether to go modern or retro build.
