We went there last night, great as always.

Brockley Rock is the best I've had in London.... And now I'll definitely be having it this evening.

tried chip shed, cheltenham. cod and chips with a curry sauce side. curry sauce was a bit sweet would probably go for mushy peas or beans next time. they do bottomless chips as well. very tasty and managed to burn my mouth about three times cause it was so tasty and didn't have the patience or the brains to wait a few minutes while it cooled.

nice but pricey.

To ask a stoopid question, I find chip shop curry sauce quite sweet so sweet for chip shop curry sauce?

Now what does intrigue is bottomless chips...so if a loaf of hungry carb demanding mamils appears will bottomless chips disappear?

“Melody of Fish” with special sauce from Oceans on St Owens Street in Hereford, sweet plentiful fish and calamari mix and apparently the only chippy in the county that uses fresh fish.

Best bit? They suggest popping opposite to The Barrels for a pint while they cook your order - well, if you insist….

Other option once you’ve collected your order is to return to The Barrels to consume the fishy feast
