Can you cold set my slightly crashed steel touring fork?

I have a Genesis Croix De Fer touring fork, front ended in a collision with an inept motorist.

No cracks, but the wheel sits in the dropouts one or two degrees off square.

If you have the equipment / experience and think you can fix for less than the cost of a new fork, AND you're south / central london based, lemme know.

Also interested in advice on DIY solutions. I have some basic tools but not sure where to start with this.

Remove front wheel. Place the bike on carpet/soft ground. Put your foot against the headtube, grab the fork leg with your hand and pull. Place a true wheel in the fork and check alignment. Repeat until done.

Got a black CDF disc fork you can have for £20 if you end up replacing instead.

I would take it to Winston Vaz in Hither Green.

He is a master at this kind of thing and not expensive.
