Saw that exhibition ages ago, on the ground floor of selfridges.
Was an eye opener in terms of seeing how different tribes dress the same, even though in their heads they believe they look like no one else.
@Lolo makes the same point in relation to the fixed gear “uniform” we wore (still wear), alone - surprising, in a group - why are all these people dressing the same..
I saw a group of lads drinking outside a pub in Blackheath on Sunday. I'm not exaggerating when I say at least 15 out of the ~20 of them were wearing chino shorts, polo shirts and deck shoes. Almost all the same colour too. They looked so similar I thought it was some kind of uniform at first but no, a group of mates who like to dress up as each other. Pretty much all had the same haircut.
Creepy!
