Handlebars shouldn't be at a 30 degrees angle, and the tip of the levers shouldn't be lower than the bottom of the bars.

If you like a more straight ramp/hood transition, you could give compact handlebars a try.

That's an awesome bike, great groupset as well. Those bars are cool I think, but indeed need a redo. The Rossin below is more in the direction you need imo, although the levers should not go any higher, preferably a tad lower. Your chain may need to be shortened as well perhaps.
