Nice; I like your response. Pretty standard for ebay these days though; everyone wants something for nothing or they don't bother. My recent comms have been along the lines of:
Me: Offers free postage
Buyer: If I buy this can I get it tomorrow?
Me: Do you want to pay an extra £6 for special delivery? (still means I have to pack and post pretty much immediately)
Buyer: No.
Me: Ok, fuck off then. Buyer blocked.Also, item listed for £100 or best offer. Buyer offers £50. I counter offer. No response from buyer, counter offer expires.
Me: Blocks buyer.I know; I take it way too personally and probably have half the world on my blocked list now and wonder why my sales have dwindled! If I don't sell on my terms I'll happily just keep hold of something rather than give it away. But when I do sell, I pride myself in making sure I describe every detail, overpack everything, make sure buyer is 100% happy etc.
But yeah; long story short; ebay sucks. More now than ever it seems.....
