  • I use Peregrines and the tread lasts a long time (I've got over 800km on one pair and the tread looks unchanged from day 1). They're not great for deep mud though but still an awful lot better than normal running shoes.

    No idea how they compare to other trail shoes for cushioning though as I've only used Peregrines for trail and Jazz (the normal versions, not the retro versions) for road running.

    I've done a few few half trail half pavement HM in my Peregrines though, without any comfort problems.
