I’ve used hoka speed goats for a year or so now. They are decent on hard trails or grass but pretty useless when it’s muddy and slippy. I’m not massively keen on them for technical descents as they have quite a lot of cushion and you feel a bit high if that makes sense.
I’m looking at the above inov8 for my next trail shoe and have some grippy inov8 for when it’s muddy.
