First time skateboarding in 20 years yesterday. Cruised about for a bit, rode off some curbs, managed a 2 cm ollie. Didn’t die. As @Drakien wrote upthread I expected it to feel more natural than it did as I’ve snowboarded a fair bit but nope, terrifying and weird. Hope to keep at it and hopefully will progress a little bit at least.
