A couple of people have asked for photos; I will try and get some tomorrow or Friday. It's available straight away. Flats in the house are usually taken very quickly so if you are interested I think a quick viewing would help.

I should also point out that my landlady is an Orthodox Jew so I can probably let you see the flat on a Friday night or Saturday day time but you would have to meet her another day.

Have had several people interested. Going to take some pics today or tomorrow.
Anyone still interested (the flat does need a good clean and repaint) can then come and see it.
And thanks, James. -

This flat is for rent again. It has been redecorated and the kitchen refloored. Still just £140 a week, no deposit. Still the same emphasis on quiet, considerate people. It's available from the 3rd of April, though you might be able to move in a few days before that. The pics below are to give an idea of the size/layout - they were taken before it was redecorated.
Contact me via PM. Viewings will have to be arranged to be Covid secure. Out landlady is shielding still but will want to speak to you on the phone and see references.

Bump. No one looking for a fairly cheap place to live in Stoke Newington?

Still available. Nice quite place to live in fashionable Stoke Newington where no one will laugh at your ridiculous hair style.

Still available. You can have Stewart Lee as your neighbour. Ed Balls just round the corner.

No-one's interested in it any more because it was tagged a long time ago, Will. It's your own fault. It's spent. It's an ex-tag.
Oops, wrong thread.

Not available now.
There's a bedsit for rent in my building.
It's an unusual set -up; second (top) floor but the flat is split; kitchen on one side of the landing, sitting room-bedroom on the other. The landing is shared with one more flat and a shared bathroom. Both rooms are an ok size, not massive but not tiny either. They have sloping ceilings, being under the roof.
It's a very quiet house, on the north side of Clissold Park. Landlady lives two doors down, no agent to deal with. Most of the people in the other (9) flats have been there 10 years or more. You would be the 4th LFGSSer living there.
Non-smoker only but most important is that you are a considerate grown up. It's not a party house. No loud music, TV, yelling, screaming, crying, worshipping the devil. Well, not if it's noisy devil worshipping.
It's safe to leave your bike in the hall or you can take it up. There is storage room on the landing. It's not a house where strange people come and go and forget to close or lock the door.
There is a washing machine but it only washes, doesn't dry.
There is a large garden for quiet enjoyment - no music, parties, crying screaming, devil worshipping etc.
Rent is a very reasonable £140 a week ex bills, no deposit. You will need references.
Gas and electric are individual meters, works out about £5-10 a week depending on usage and time of year. Bathrooms and toilets are shared but clean.
The landlady is a terrific woman, very honest and dependable and quick to arrange any repairs that need doing.
PM me if you are interested.
