Question for you/anyone else riding such a fat tyred yet relatively sprightly/not a pain in the cunt to do some distance on looking bike, what gearing you running?
I got rid of my ssmtb last year because I found that I'd gottenb out of the habit of driving to ride with lockdown and the low gear I prefer for offroading (32:19) made it an arse to ride any distance.
I've now got the Kona Unit and have wondered about sticking a set of WTB dirt drops I have and maybe some narrower tyres (27.5 x 2.8 wtb Rangers currently) onto it but don't know if it'd actually be any good.
Not really sure where this should live...but built it up today and it's good fun.
Needs some tweaks of course...
