That was my understanding. I guess I chuckled at it when I saw it. I've used their wheels and they have worked so far. The name Zipp implies speed yet my £800+ front wheel spent 6 months of a season getting its exploding bearings replaced.

Or buy them off staff or a sponsored rider?

I think they're sworn to never resell under punishment of gritty bearings and mismatched components for eternity.

Guy I rode with a few years back had managed to get 4 or 5 sets out of the back of a service course at the end of a season. He wouldn't say which but given he rode an ex-Team Sky Pinarello I think we could take a wild guess.

Would love to see this caked in mud and scratched to the point where you can't even read "O" anymore. The only time I like expensive ATB bikes is when their owners completely trash them riding the hell out of it.
