Hi, yes you can order them if you want. Just no website yet
-
• #53
Do you have a video guide on how to wrap these? Looks like a small challenge in itself.

It will be up on website

I finally got mine installed and wrapped. The taping was definitely tricky but once I worked out a system the second side was much easier. Gave them a go on the rollers and they feel really good, stops my hands from bending down the fronts of the drops when riding in the hoods position.

Cool stem and bars. Did you do it yourself?
-
• #57
Thanks, yeah but I didn't prepare the surface well enough so it chips off really easily.

I really like it. I saw someone selling stem caps with a similar look on ebay. If I find it I'll send you the link.

They are up for grabs. DM me if you want some.

Got mine installed, and went on a 104km cruise to test them out.
I would have to caution ppl not to attach them too tight. I cracked the plastic a tiny bit, but was able to glue and support within the wrap. Feels super safe and comfy. Also, I have carbon bars, so to protect against having a pressure point of the screw digging into the carbon, I cut out a square pieces of leather from an old belt i had, and placed the squared between the screw and the bar (you'll see a square gap).
The only bad part about these are the comments on reddit, and FB fixed gear groups by roadies that pretend to understand what riding a track bike is like.

Any idea when the website will be up, and when can we order them?

Innit

Got mine yesterday, look great but I must say taping up is a bit of a nightmare. 2 rolls of bar tape in the bin and still no nearer to sorting out a neat solution. Very stretchy tape may be the solution.

Im very sorry for the tapping struggles. I can assure you that it is very easy to tape if done acordingly. Ill try my best to show atleast a simple video

Fabric brand tape is very stretchy and works alright. I spent about 45 minutes trying to work out how to wrap one side then did the other in 2. I ended up doing a kind of double figure of 8.

I think i have it figured out. I was trying to replicate the 8bar crit bike, which has a super neat tape wrap. Whatever, it's a great product.

Given up, can't get a neat wrap. Back to normal bars.

This still makes me smile

Hi there,
Just got my hoods today, and tried wrapping them.
Tapes I am using are "Deda Elementi MISTRAL TAPE". The wrap itself has a little amount of foam inside so it looks kinda funny when trying to wrap around.
I just wanted to ask, what tapes did other people use to get a successful clean wrap?

Hi there,
Thank your reply. I've ended up doing a messy job of it (with a lot of tape), and will get new wraps after your vid.
