You clearly don't work in an office where half of the people are too hot and the other half have fan heaters under their desk

True. Heaters are banned in our office due to fire risk (21st Floor) .

Thus the place is set to boiling the entire time and i couldn't tell you the last time I had to pop a jumper on nor when I have not had a desk fan running in my face.

But heat direct onto wrists... You'll cook!

what TK said - but also, I wear cashmere wrist warmers when I'm working... a heated wrist-rest thing sounds lush! I wouldn't want to be warming up the laptop or snacks though.
