@scotts I guess it depends how much you want/need it and how disappointed you'd be if it sold. If it doesn't sell this time a cheeky (£300?) Offer might work? I bought a 26" Condor for £40 but ended up spending another £300 (inc. Powdercoating) to get it on the road so even the bargains can add up! It's racked up 1000s of comfortable miles since, so worth every penny.
70cm 80s whopper in Hastings. I think its been for sale before...

Hey Guys, looking for a bit of advice on Genesis fit. I've done a fair bit of Googling before posting so I hope I haven't missed any other posts on this topic; feel free to point me in that direction if it's been covered.
Being an XL boy, I'm interested in the XL frames - particularly the Equilibrium and Volare.
Is anyone able to liken these to regular bike size, by which I mean "What size does it feel like?".
A 61cm frame, 62cm or 63cm etc?I'm currently riding a 61cm Allez atm with the sloping top tube, similar to these bikes, and it does feel a little small. I'm 6,5" for reference.
Any advice appreciated. Would love to test ride, but until then...

i know this isn’t a direct answer to your question but i would look at geometry charts of the bikes you are interested in and compare top tube lengths of the XLs and use these measurements to help inform your choice. I’m 6’5 too and ride off the peg XLs with 120mm or longer stems. mountain bikes are more of a pain in the ass at my budget.

Good advice and appreciate the reply. Found it a bit harder to estimate with a sloping top tube

usually you get a horizontal or virtual tt measurement that you can compare

Probably a wee bit small for me (along with every other bike) but might fit one of you other vertically endowed chaps?

I have a 62 cm Raleigh, quite light being 531, 27” wheels, cut down bars, I bought it for a bloke who had his bike break this week but it’s too big, happy to sell the frame, 80 complete, a good base, has a few small dings here and there but for a hack / big beater it’s fine. Will need going over. I’m in Surrey

at 7 foot tall , I think it would need to be at least a 66cm bike..

Currently cheap 65cm Concorde frame, sans forks.
Edit: I'm not convinced that ST is more than 63cm...could be the angle. Worth checking.

Ebay and the seller might have been on here? I remember picking it up from a bike shop in soho but it was a long time ago!
