ADHN is a bit low on meat for tandem use. My wife has them on her commuter (rode it today, so nice!), she's very light and they've survived Glasgow's roads for 5 years and some light tours without damage but wouldn't have them on a tandem even in 40h.
Is it that 40h have just dried up this year or has it been before C19? Would expect in the last year that mftr have ditched all the weird products that they make and focus on the core lines so 40h would return in 2022/23
Ryde Andra are solid, seen a few on RTW bikes (70-90kg rider + ALL the gear) and survived just fine in 36h (not tandem, but don't think RTW tandem's are common).
No, I tried finding a 40h Sputnik too, but no luck. Ended up with a 36h Alivio hub and Sputnik combo.
Kinlin ADHN looks like it's available in 40h, but doesn't look the sturdiest
