ADHN is a bit low on meat for tandem use. My wife has them on her commuter (rode it today, so nice!), she's very light and they've survived Glasgow's roads for 5 years and some light tours without damage but wouldn't have them on a tandem even in 40h.
Is it that 40h have just dried up this year or has it been before C19? Would expect in the last year that mftr have ditched all the weird products that they make and focus on the core lines so 40h would return in 2022/23
Ryde Andra are solid, seen a few on RTW bikes (70-90kg rider + ALL the gear) and survived just fine in 36h (not tandem, but don't think RTW tandem's are common).
I don't think the Sputnik comes in 40H anymore, at least not in 700c.
Frustratingly the A719 rim still has a marking for a 40H option on the rim sticker, but Mavic have confirmed they've ceased production.
