Yeh, the west indies, still nowhere.

Joking, I got it earlier.

So still available to tag?

I think people are being put off at the thought of paying a toll

I didn't mean it to be revealed that it's in the middle of nowhere, but that must be the most off-putting factor. Not the rain, of course, oh no, it's not as if taggers on here are a bit soft.

This bike has been slowly deteriorating for at least two years; it's on 2019 street view. It became a good friend to me during lockdown on my weekly trip to.... the shops.

I posted a photo of that bike on the abandoned bike thread.
Glad I didn't bother leaving the flat.
EDIT: It is Clarendon Road off Turnpike Lane

The African Caribbean (as it's been renamed)/formerly West Indian Cultural Centre was in the news recently:
Its street address is actually in Clarendon Road, one of the small side streets off the big Turnpike Lane/Wightman Road/Hornsey Park Road junction. Quite typically for buildings built in that time, it turns away from the main street completely, and instead of facing the busy street faces a small car park. Even though it has its (old) name displayed prominently on the side façade facing Turnpike Lane, I must have ridden past it hundreds of times before noticing it.
Anyway, I thought it was a nice link to the recent Oliver Tambo tag.
I think we should tell @middleofnowhere that it's safe to leave the house again now, too.

Is it tho? 99.989% of all the bad shit that happens in the world happens outside my flat.

Also I actually got the tag a few days ago, just decided my follow up was unworthy of this thread. On hindsight I should have just headed to 2nd closest supermarket carpark.

Morrison's is closer too come to think of it.

Forgot the 'new' supermarket.

I assume people don't need another clue? I know every little helps though that wouldn't be the case here. There must be someone who is willing to brave 40 mph winds to get it and restore the thread's dignity and gravitas before any more pearls are clutched.

Old, Fortnum and Mason, by Harringay Green Lanes
From an abandoned bike which I couldn't find on the abandoned bikes thread, to the location of an abandoned bike which was on the abandoned bikes thread but isn't abandoned anymore thanks to the abandoned bikes thread.
Clue: yellow bar tape

That's two minutes from where I am working tomorrow. I'll try and find an historical and moving and magnificent follow up.
If you are looking for more abandoned bikes you could try here.

OLD: Evering rd, where a Cannondale track bike (I think)was left for a long time. It's the one with yellow bar tape in the screen shot.

Sadly, it's not one of the better Sainsbury's, not the slightest prospect of any cottaging.
