How large does it need to be? My master bedroom is currently divided into an office and a smaller bedroom.
Only way I could think would be to do that and see if you can get enough width to have a bed widthways across the window, and maybe a bit of hanging clothes storage to try and stop the furniture from eating up any remaining floor space...
It's not ideal and the bay window might look a bit odd if it's right up to a wall, but it'd just be a couple of partitions so pretty cheap until you could do it 'properly' with a loft extension.
I'd assume if you start moving bathrooms and plumbing around then you'll end up edging getting toward the price of a basic loft fit out
