Is that really its profile?
Pretty much. The basic character of 9gag is that they glory in taking content from elsewhere, removing any sign of the source and adding their own logo, giving no credit. Which they feel makes them edgy. But if you look at the content they mostly reshare, they're a bunch of shitlords.

Is that really its profile?? I get forwarded stuff from several people who I wouldn’t have guessed were alt right leaning.
