Just spotted neighbour in the Audi reskin of the Taycan. Definitely the best looking fastwankerbev from a wanker perspective.

As standard as they come... Although I'll have to sell it now

As I don't understand much about cars, I got quite confused why I would have to factor my cats in my car purchase... surely the cat boxes would fit perfectly fine if/when I need to bring them to the vet...
Just did a quick google to understand the issue and as you said, catalysts thief seems like a big problem at the moment. I live in a gated development, so the car would be parked overnight in a gated compound - I guess this reduces the risk? Or people are really getting these during daylight across town?

Why the sale? A friend was smugly telling me that his pick up defender was worth more than he paid for it 5yrs ago.
Edit needs a winch!

👋 Only been here a month this week and the weather hasn’t been particularly bike friendly so I’m yet to do any exploring outside of a 5k running radius, but that’s still enough for plenty of killers. Always uphill back into town on the way home 😔

Hah. That sounds good!

All the videos of thefts I’ve seen have involved a trolley jack tbf. Usually 2-4 guys, done within a minute and armed to deter anyone intervening. Depressing tbh.
We had our Jazz’s cat nicked over Xmas, and I replaced it with much swearing (and a cheap non-oem cat and middle pipe).

Lots of videos of daylight thefts.
This came up straight away on a quick google.

And is permeated with the stench of death.
I think that was an optional extra on the EX models.
Comes as standard with a Jazz though.

Also a Civic has the same cat but it is much harder to steal (probably because it's so fecking low and the undertray is a pain in the arse to remove).

This is why I sold my e61 ...

my other half's brother had one for a while. really good fun to drive. i found the interior felt very cheap/tacky and poorly insulated though. probably absolutely spot on for what you are looking for and can get a good-ish one for £5k i am sure
another similar car to consider is mini cooper s. far more unreliable though

1-series very bike friendly

It's a great (characterful?) engine, which can see a reliable 220bhp with the Garrett. It isn't however a modern low boost unit, so if you're on it everywhere, it will drink fuel. Unfortunately, that's addictive! I see about 35mpg with mixed driving but very few long journeys. @small nice Campovolo! Best colour along with white imho.
