Not often I link to cyclingnews.com, but this analysis by Ed Pickering is worth a read. I think Ineos’ use of Ganna is pretty innovative from a tactical perspective. He’s shaped the race twice now, in a way that very few other pro cyclists can.

Are Ineos taking Ganna to the tour or is he concentrating on the Olympics?
If not I guess they will try and use Dennis in a similar role
