Absolutely not. Those are GRANDdad shoes. The 99* are particularly prominent with dads as they are a truly Made in the USA product. Dad's are at the stage in their lives where they can afford the finer things in life, such as trainers that aren't made in a sweat shop.
Grandad's however have spent all of their retirement money on 2.2 gumwalls and Nitto components, so they have to settle for the overseas manufactured 624.

NB 993 all day! The most dad shoe of them all. Even more than a 990.. these are now my old pair as I got some new ones a couple of weeks ago.
