[adjusts spectacles] Truck geometry is just one part of how a truck handles and what the overall 'feel' is, so changing from the trad Venture to a longboard/reversed kingpin type of truck will change everything, but still may not suit you (like, I find those types of trucks feel dead unresponsive in a small turn and then tippy when you go large).
If you have access to different bushings it's worth playing with that, definitely. I use a particular type of oversized bushing in my Indy 169s that I feel allows me to run them looser than I would with stock bushings.Edit: I see Sean Goff has NOS packs of these... green stims are where I'd start the tweaking : )
Bit of advice sought - discovered my old Venture trucks & a big ol' set of Kryptos from 25 years ago up the loft & naturally stuck them on a longboard for arsing about on, feels unusual - guessing the bushings are either a bit hard or a bit old, probably both. Is it worth trying softer bushings or taking the washer plates out or whatever, or am I best looking for some cheap longboard trucks?
