I think the starp just breaks the monotony of the case and bracelet being the same colour. Plus BBs look good on anything.
Was clearly something in the air today about NATO /military straps. I got bored and started playing around with the Exp2 on the old straps had for the now sold Bremont. Currently on a moody Erika:

I do prefer the red BB on a starp. Maybe its the colour.
