I'm sad to say that over my fifteen pages of party membership, I've watched our ideology become watered down and diluted in the quixotic quest for "mainstream appeal"
If we cannot offer the public something other than nostalgic 2x builds from the past, we will become indistinguishable from competing retro mtb dads, our base will become disillusioned and the opportunity to build a new type of bike wankery will be lost.
I'm calling for the party leadership to return us to our revolutionary roots. Embrace the radical tradition of not overbiking for the bridleway, but for the bike path, overpacking not for a road trip, but for a lunch trip, clearances CAN be brought down, bike wankery must be pushed forward, whatever the cost, whether that price is paid in import fees or alienation.
