need to sell this bike, amongst others, anyone interested before it goes up for sale elsewhere? its a Kawasaki KMB450, had <1 mile use. has some chips on the seat stay where its been living in a garage, otherwise pristine. the guy I got it from did contract work for the Kawasaki racing team, making their garments in the 90s and got a deal on it through his company. he bought it but never used it, it just lived in his garage. I have all the original paperwork that came with it new. just need to pass it on.
£250 collect in Brighton or meet somewhere part way, could potentially post it if need be.

New purchase - Stumpjumper (92 I think) hardly been used. I think the only thing not original are the XT shifters

wow yeah that's mint!

bit late but pretty sure they're scams - 1 day listings with desirable products and 99p starting price. Someone's account has been hacked

What’s the plan?

Dig out some DX pedals,Bit of oil and get out and about on it.
May swap the XT shifters for DX in time. -

I've got a large Pelago Commuter rack from an old build, and Curana C-Lite 60mm guards to go on.

Sweet Specialized.
I took this out for a roll around the woods on the weekend - kept forgetting the brakes were the wrong way round. Fun was had.

Nice! Quite a few retro MTBs now in Bristol I think, should get a group ride together.

There’s a few of us in the Bristol Grit group who have old 26ers - we’ve done a couple of retro splinter group rides which have been fun. Just blasts around Ashton court so far, but I’d like to do one of the longer routes towards the airport / tyndsfield that we’ve been doing on gravel bikes. Some fun sections that would be great on a rigid mtb.

Where does one find out about these Bristol 26er rides...? Not on Facebook so that might be a stumbling block. Got a bouncy 26er Inbred but a project to build up a rigid 26er as well.

The Bristol Grit group ride is a regular Wednesday night ride on gravel bikes and is arranged on facebook but the 26er rides are just informal, occasional things (it just happens to be members of the Grit group). Happy to shove a post up in this thread when the next one happens or even set up an event thread on the forum.
