  • Looks like the type of stuff you’d still find on an Apollo MTB

  • I think I’ve just bought gravel specific jersey, what have I become..

  • What are the axes on your matrix? Fantastic work.

Bear in mind TB is also ex-forces. I think Navy. And LR is/was a professional gambler who is banned by some bookmakers in Australia.

  • I wish I had a better defence than, it looked nice and I only realised after I looked at the website once I’d bought it of FB.....sigh

  • standard political, x auth/lib, y left/right

he is, which originally put him a lot further right but he seems quite disenfranchised by the whole experience which swung him back but not into true hippy tier, i did not know L/R was a pro gambler, that might swing him further to the libertarian quadrant

  • Can you motivate lufguss being a centrist dad? I don't disagree but I'm curious.

  • Don't worry, no-one will ever know, unless they're full gravelista.

  • digging deeper into the data

  • Henry Wildeberry? And, separately, Ms Cools?

    BQ?

    Are you taking requests?

  • Accurate.

I’m interested to know if the post-trauma brain shifts political outlook. Please plot this >>> Draw your own collisions

  • 'Shit from a Butt' is an admirably bold phrase for a mainstream marketing campaign.

Can anyone recommend a set of 700c budget-but-decent gravel / singletrack wheels... for rim brakes?

  • How is it actually considered gravel specific? Is it just coloured brown to mask #shitfromabutt or does it feature a hipster beard grooming mirror or Instagram photo preset notes or perhaps it has the Thesaurus entry for "epic" printed on the sleeve for use while GoPro live streaming your totally sick to the power of rad adventure?

  • gambler who is banned by some bookmakers in Australia.

    That's 96% of Australians.

  • I assume "gravel specific" is XC MTB...i.e. a sorta slightly looser fit but with the 3 back pockets.

  • The gravelleurs I see around the southside of Glasgow seem to be all about the rapha gilet.. provincial centrist dad chic

  • it appears so.......
"Dust, dirt and a sense of adventure. That's the world the Joshua Jersey is designed to inhabit. Ale starts by using lightweight and highly breathable fabrics to keep you cool and comfortable as you head into the wilds. Ultralight mesh across the back gives a boost to ventilation and keeps sweat at bay if you're wearing a pack. Speaking of packs, the shoulders are reinforced to resist the rubbing from the straps of a rucksack or hydration pack.

When it comes to the fit of the jersey, the cut is kept close to the body but it's by no means restrictive. Instead, the focus is on easy freedom of movement, letting you move and manoeuvre as you navigate rough trails and sweeping gravel roads. Storage is also a key consideration for bike packing and gravel riding and here Ale gives the Joshua Jersey a plethora amount of pockets - you'll have stacks of space for all the essentials you want close to hand."

i am ashamed. only bought it cos it looks nice.......

  • If it wasn't for your confesion, there would be no telling that the Joshua Jersey is gravel specific. You've a long way to fall before you hit the regular clothing gravel specific crossover that is cafe du cyclist and morvelo. I can't unsee the shirt with a zip or the fake flannel range.

  • This is great. Will be doing some riding in Wales next weekend. Weather is looking pretty wet though. Do these trails become unrideable after a bit of rain or are they OK?

One of my lockdown projects, not particularly well finished is to try and collect routes I/friends/organised rides have for gravel in Wales:

  • At the moment though I think it would cost more in PCR tests than flights!

Tests? We're not even masking any more!

  • Sportspursuit have a sale on Roswheel bags at the moment

  • Nice, it it'll massively depend on which trails I think. Pretty standard - if its singletrack, will probably be muddy, 'proper' gravel will be alright still.

    Where abouts are you heading?

I've pulled them together a bit here if that's helpful:

  • only bought it cos it looks nice

That's the LFGSS we know and love.

  • Getting back to Plague Island will still need them.

But that means flying to US could be cheaper than going to Greece for a friend's wedding...
