  • She was never happy with it tho'...

  • The car has had quite a life, after the original paint artist? paint job was disguised when the car was stolen then cleaned off, the car was then used by one of the Joplin entourage till being returned to a family member who restored the car back to the original silver. Then another family member had someone recreate the artists work on the car.

    Or something like that.

  • Brings the idea of what I should do with my Porsche wank mobile. Return to original spec or the uprated snd later spec with bigger turbos and intercoolers. Or replace everything with a true water cooled engine or the original modified air-cooled block.

Think I have learnt why I got the car so cheap.

  • The Boxster that you showed pictures of has turned into a 996 turbo? What did you feed it?

  • Oh my days

  • Wonder why there hasn't been a mention of the british Ferrari 250 swb homages?
Was the covid vaccine named ferrari, now named shark too scary?

    EVO mag link
    Good bits
Newly designed 10k rpm quad cam 4l V12, there are a few renderings in the article.
Carbon fibre and ali body with a tubular steel main body.
Built in the UK fuck you Ineos

    Bad bits
Think that it is just photoshop so far

  • Not one but two british ferrari 250 homages!!!
This one is based on a 550 maranello

    Another link to EVO magazine

Will this devalue? a 550 maranello by converting it to something else?

  • I think that’s rare for a reason…

  • Bad isn't it. Looks like a dinghy.

  • Meanwhile in Johannesburg... Friend of mine has nearly finished this, it's his second one.

Also if you can make it past the tractors, merry go rounds and boats there's some interesting motors for sale here

  • I'm going to look at the following tomorrow, all petrol estates - 2008 A4, 2006 BMW 320, 2013 Skoda Octavia, 2011/14 Mondeo and a 2004 Volvo V70. The Volvo will be by far the biggest I guess but it's going to be too expensive to run I think as the fuel economy is dire and insurance is a lot. I'd like to put MTBs in the back and I can't afford money pit. What would be the forum pick for a cheap runner that'll fit a whole bike in the back?

I wish car review people would give the boot length as well as volume

  • Mondeo. Will be huge inside, far bigger than others except v70 and likely cheap ish to run, if not a lemon. Good cars.

  • Mondeo isn't far off the size of a V70. If you can find a Superb, they are easily as big as the Volvo.

Edit - what @skinny said. I liked my Mondeo until I drove it through a flood and got water in the air intake.

  • This.

As much as I love my 2006 XC70 [V70], if I was buying now I'd take the 2014 Mondeo.

  • Mondeo will be the nicest to drive of the fwd estates. Cheapest parts as well.

  • E Class estate, Windhill bike park back to London with two bikes on the roof

  • Only 50Kg of CO2 👍🏻

  • 5 miles from my doorstep. If you fancy some fresh eggs next time, let me know.

  • Apparently the fuel tank is 66
litres, which given that I put 64 in at the petrol station is a little concerning.

  • Scratch that, it’s got the touring tank which is 80 litres. It panicked when it got to the last 25% of tank showing and kept suggesting petrol stations to go to.

  • Best bike car I had was a scenic grande, it drove 'small'(and cheap) but it was huge inside, galaxy/alhambra scale. I used to drive a v70, very barge-like and thirsty

  • Is this good/bad/FYI only?
