Rychtarski Columbus Slx Lopro 700/650c with aerospoke and fades

Rychtarski lopro, made with Columbus slx tubing, 700c Rear 650c front. Rear is an aerospoke track wheel with clincher tyre. Front is an ultegra hub, not sure of the rim but think it might be a rigida rim. It’s a sort of metallic bronze colour. Also clincher tyre.

Has a Campagnolo record headset recently fitted, sturmey archer cranks, Sr seat post, concor san marco super corsa saddle in nearly new condition. Profile aerobars wrapped with cotton bar tape, not sure what the levers are, has front and rear callipers as I had it as a single speed. The frame was originally for geared riding. Even comes with a slack chain.

Originally from Poland and used by a rider called, from what I remember, Majeck Pozarlik. The guy who owned the bike before me emailed Rychtarski asking about the frame and got a response saying it’s from the 90s and gave a value although I think it was more a price for the frame if a new one was to be made.

I have a copy of this email that can go with it.

Size is 58cm from top of seat tube to middle of BB. Horizontally from the head tube to the seat tube it’s 56cm.

Condition is pretty good overall but it is an old frame and does have marks and chips consistent with age and use.

It’s an awesome bike and very quick but I’m not that flexible, it turns heads and gets comments but I can’t ride it that long without getting achey so it’s not getting used and something else shiny has come up.

I’m not looking to split really, the only thing I would consider parting out would be the spok and the saddle.

I’m in Brighton, ideally needs to be paid for and collected in person.

Evidently an old time trial frame. Might be worth sourcing those 'aero' downtube gear shifters and restoring it back to its original look. A project for someone else, not me.

I did consider doing that and would be nice to see it built up that way
