The 38mm Aqua Terra with the black or blue dial is a nice watch. Just saying… it is Rolex OP money, mind you.

You're doing it already, but i massively recommend checking all the options in 3D as they're always so different to the pics/renders. I was sold on the B&R GMT that @Regal mentioned but when i went to try it on there was something about it (too flat/ matte / sapphire dome), which I couldn't put my finger on but it just underwhelmed me. Whereas the Oris never did anything for me in the pics, but a friend picked one up and now i think they're brilliant. I've got the BB58's older fatter brother, and the Oris is definitely at home in that company, and about a grand cheaper.

Of course in that price bracket, if you want a tool or pilot watch, you're also firmly in Sinn territory ...

Who's recommended for servicing an Omega? Pop in to Alsal and see what they say?

(60s Constellation auto, bought about 20 years ago, ran fine for several years. Time keeping became poor, got Austin Kaye to service it, then stopped working at all two or three years later. I've been meaning to get it looked at for more than a decade ...)

Has that old gen Seamaster 300 already gone or can you throw that in the mix as well?

No, it's an oversized watchgecko that was end of line. I had to trim it with a razorblade to fit.

Originally my dad had it on a tiny black leather thing that looked like dental floss. It did have an omega buckle though (now safely stored).
