  • Yeah, I like that one and the recent olive drab one (I particularly like how they've done the black lines / outlines on the dial).

    I came close to buying the GMT a couple of times. However there was always something about the way it wears that stopped me. Couldn't put my finger on it - it's not thick and 41mm isn't particularly big. I think the 22mm lug width made the bracelet look big, or something.

    Still like it. Would like to see the green IRL.

  • Love the outlining too, it reminds me of the Brietling Superocean in how it makes the numbers stand out.

    @ElGonzo I'm not trying to put you off the bb58, they're very nice despite David Beckham's endorsement. The applied dial markers in particular are a cut above a lot of others in the same price bracket. Just mentioning some more options.

  • I really appreciate all the options you've thrown at me, and I have to confess the Beckham endorsement really does gnaw away at me even though I know I should be above that shit and take the watch/brand on its merits. Beckham though... argh.

    As it stands that Bell & Ross is the pick of the bunch until I see them in the flesh.
