Remco's going to blow up big time in week 3. That's my armchair call.

I'm not sure I'd go that far, but if he's only been training properly for a month, that last week will properly test the depth of his condition.

He's going go win a stage, maybe one of the first mountain stages, and the press will be insufferable

Mitchelton-Scott DS Gene Bates kicked off the race for taking down Pieter Serry today. The team have been fined €2k too.

I thought that but he (or someone that looked like him) got back into the rear passenger seat so was he actually driving?

Apparently due to the commissaires' vehicle being busy handing the BEx team car a rain jacket. Good to see the UCI still have their priorities regarding rider safety in absolutely tip top order.
