I've only ever had Clarks desert boots, which are hell to break in then fantasticly comfortable, then sloppy and made my feet ache and once the sole is past a certain point its like walking on soap when the floor is wet... upgraded to Sanders creepers for my crepe needs which are excellent out of the box
Yeah, those soles on Clark's desert boots are lethal when worn. I nearly killed myself on some wet york stone wearing them. Put me off them forever more.
same, which is a shame as they look great - all the other alternatives seem to look a bit 'fashion' imo... and now they want £110 a pair (I know there are sales on but RRP from Clarks) I'd rather spend a just little more and get shoes that can be rebuilt...
