  • I've only ever had Clarks desert boots, which are hell to break in then fantasticly comfortable, then sloppy and made my feet ache and once the sole is past a certain point its like walking on soap when the floor is wet... upgraded to Sanders creepers for my crepe needs which are excellent out of the box

  • Yeah, those soles on Clark's desert boots are lethal when worn. I nearly killed myself on some wet york stone wearing them. Put me off them forever more.

  • same, which is a shame as they look great - all the other alternatives seem to look a bit 'fashion' imo... and now they want £110 a pair (I know there are sales on but RRP from Clarks) I'd rather spend a just little more and get shoes that can be rebuilt...
