I had AZ on saturday morning, got fever/chills/headache etc almost EXACTLY 12 hours later, as did the four others that I went with. 24hs later, all fine, bit of an achey arm but that's it.

Pfizer vaccine here last week. Slight sore arm overnight but no stiffness and riding MTB on Friday.

Survivor bias too
Is it survivor bias if +99.999% of recipients survive? 🤔

I had a text on Monday afternoon from Guy's & St Thomas's that I could book in for my vaccination. Not sure why I got the text as I'm 39 and and in Lewisham. Slots were available from 8am yesterday so booked in. Also at Vaccination Centre 2, I was 20 mins early (because trains) but they were able to see me immediately. Very slick.
Ditto on the arm and seemingly all good 24 hours in.
Agreed, God bless the NHS.

Lots of random news sources online reporting it, so I think it’s legit.
If they stick to the “age on July 1st” thing I’m days too young sadface

Jab last night. Today I feel like I had six pints on a work night and not enough sleep.

Bunch of my south London mates got their texts from Guys...no idea why.

Guys and Tommys have been doing Moderna jabs. Could be that if they're <40.
-
• #416
Nah, they're all >40
I suspect its because Guys have their managed IT service company called Essentia and perhaps they're doing the SMS invitations for other trusts in the approximate region.

Word on Twitter is the change is live already.
It's still telling my 37 yo arse to piss off and/or move to Lewisham.

Food for thought. Seems like splitting hairs between Pfizer and Moderna, not that I'm at all qualified to make that statement!

How? I'm 39 and web site still say no...
-
• #423
Get what you are given ;)
When I was vaccinated, I talked about making a choice and remember how that went?

Just booked mine up through the website (I'm 39), mainly pharmacies as options which I assume is because they're better set up to store Pfizer/Moderna shots?

Now I'm feeling left out. I'm 39! Why can't I have one?!
True.
I guess I shouldn’t be trying to guess at what I got anyway.
