As long as the lines match up it’s fine but you won’t have much room for adjustments later. The trim on them mechs are minimal from experience. If you back off the high limit screw (or whatever they call it on them mechs) does it then trim? My thought is maybe your limit screw is stopping the mech on the trim position.
