• I'm honestly not sure I'm at a level of ability where I'd be able to accurately spot that my rebound needed re-valving. I suspect a really good shock might be wasted on me!

  • Oh it was more just the actual speed of the rebound was a tad too slow even in its fastest setting. So they retuned it for free. I think that's part of thier policy, if its re-valved and its still not right they will take it back and re-tune until you're happy.

But being able to tell the difference between suspension, especially rear shocks, is something that's not easy to spot if I'm honest. I couldn't really feel much of a difference between a dhx2 coil and a much cheaper x-fusion coil.
Even with forks, once you're past a certain price point they all feel much of a muchness. Not sure I could tell fox/rockshox apart in a blind test.

But the EXT was the first suspension product I'd used and felt a real tangible difference. Its just incredibley supple of the top, it sags a few mm under the weight of the bike.
The increase in grip is very noticeable, the wheel feels like its stuck to the ground.

I appreciate I'm sounding a bit fanboy here though. The price is hard to ignore but if you were considering £900 on a Fox shock then you might as well go with the EXT for another £50!

Email Mojo and ask for a demo unit

Sounds like you need a fork upgrade now ;-)
