freezing wind to watch a game at the cottage this past season.
The coldest I've ever been at a match was at Craven Cottage. Feb 2012.
Minus 5 with a 20mph wind coming off the river.Walked back to our flat in Shepherds Bush after the game and my feet were numb the whole way.
1-1. Would not recommend.

That sounds rough. I've been really cold there once, but learnt my lesson. Organised a mate's stag do in probably feb or march of 2011 which started off watching a bit of footy in the neutral end of the cottage (vs Blackbun ended 3-2, the returning bobby zamora scored the winning penalty) anyways I made sure everyone knew to wrap up, but it wasn't too bad in the end. One bloke went to town and was in about 5 layers plus long johns, sweating buckets in the pub afterwards and had to change.
Conversely I watched us (Everton) win there for the first time in about 50-60 years in May of 2009. The weather was absolutley beautiful, glorius sunshine, perfect result. Met a few mates, drank a lot of guiness afterwards and dreamt about the FA cup final (we'll ignore the actual result.)
0-2 would definitely watch again. Probably my favourite away day, in fact.
Disappointed to see Fulham go down too, tbh. No doubt they deserved it but, like the baggies, a very likeable club. Sad to miss the chance to jaunt through the park in the sunshine/freezing wind to watch a game at the cottage this past season.
