I'm thinking about buying some prints that were proofs for an art book. I'd be getting them because I like them, not as an investment, but I wondered whether people thought they'd be more or less collectible than limited edition prints? The gallery just told me:
"Most of them are unique but some have been printed a couple of times. They’re proofs created when the artist was putting together his XXXXXX book, so some do have marks and some have different paper edges/sizes to others."
