It won't. Using an 8/9 sp campag front derailleur with a 10sp crankset will lead to the chain falling from outer ring when shifting up. That's why 8/9 and 10sp campagnolo derailleurs are different.
Obviously there's a lot of flexibility whith front derailleurs, I'm not saying otherwise, but in that particular case (campagnolo 10sp transmission and 8/9 front der) it is really painful to adjust.
