Khans most powerful argument is that he’s not Shaun Bailey. This leaves him vulnerable to people voting for other people who are also not Shaun Bailey, and that might have policies they like- Greens for e.g.
I think there’s a risk that the vote that Labour now takes for granted in the big cities could also go the same way as I honestly couldn’t name a current Labour policy- any current Labour policy, on anything, and I try to pay attention to this sort of thing.
I’m looking at renting a flat in Edinburgh, which may be A Clue as to how I think the next ten years will go in the UK.
