Nice bike. Looks like a pretty hefty repair job - how did the damage happen?
-

Hey, nothing exciting. The bike was parked up between a gate opening. It toppled over and the top tube hit the wall. I’ve ridden it for years now without a problem so would say the lifetime guarantee is legit.

I had a carbon repair done on my top tube near the seat post where someone tried to saw through the frame and I had it repaired and I have had it a year no problem at all.

Lovely bike, I had a damaged down tube on my TMR01 and it was chopped up in the warranty process except they didn't come through with the frame they had offered in replacement. Wish I had gotten a repair job like yours instead.

I mean 😭, I can’t believe someone tried to saw through your frame!? Whyyy.... It’s honestly never crossed my mind that the repair wouldn't be ok.

The bike was giving to me by a person who's friend had a attempted theft they gave up after nearly half way.

I've also had a top tube repaired by that company, they were the go-to company for repairs under Yellow Jersey insurance so they're legit. Nice bike.

I can see two maybe four parts on there that are salvageable
£1000

Reach: 400
This has been sitting on my turbo trainer for the last 12 months but it can’t stay there any longer. It’s the bike that got me in to cycling so I don’t really want to see it go but I can’t justify having two carbon bikes right now.
It has taken me a long way but has been much loved and well cared for. It started out looking very different and cost £2000 in 2015. I’ve spent another £2000 improving the parts/wheels since so I think the price is reasonable. The only thing to note is the top tube, i damaged it while cleaning the bike in it’s first year so it has been ‘scanned and replaced by model specific carbon to form a seamless finish’ at carbon bike repair in Dorking, which means it has a lifetime guarantee with them (I still have the receipt for this and will pass it on with the bike). Otherwise the next owner will find this a joy to ride, it’s super light and rigid. I think it would make a perfect bike for someone taking part in crits once they finally start again.
