Do you use anything to track performance and training load over time? Something like http://www.intervals.icu will give you loads of tools to show if you are improving or putting yourself in a hole with training load

Some really interesting analysis in there, e.g. being able to filter down to just indoor rides, then classify your training profile (polarised, pyramidal etc.)
Turns out I'm still spending too much time in z3+4 on the trainer, despite choosing interval sessions that only go there in the warm up. 🤔

Is there a tutorial on how to use this?
Loads of whizzy graphs but I have no idea what it means. All I really want to do is gradually improve fitness or at least stave off the effects of age/diet etc. I have no interest in burying myself in a pain cave but realise some effort is required.
My fitness line is above the fatigue line which according to the text means I am getting less fit. But not sure what is needed to turn this decline around.
Have had a few days off, we had a scheduled power outage on Thursday, yesterday I was gardening and today am visiting my dad. I think I have done too much base work and possibly ought to do a build program. Plus possibly need to find more violent or stimulating stuff to watch on Netflix to get me fired up. The light comedy of Lucifer or Rake isn’t exciting enough.
