I don’t consider there to be a material difference between the v1 & v2 works frames. The v2 had the crank clearance issue addressed which arguably makes them more desirable depending on the cranks you want to run.
The v1 vs v2 thing was born out of the differences with the Gangsta frame sets, Brooklyn made vs Taiwan made. I’m not sure it really applies to the works frame, but that just opinion!
