Do Makita do <3ah LXT batteries? I can't find any but would be ideal for my impact.

I think 1.5 ah.

I’m going to do the same.
I stuck with 14.4v for years because of weight

Late reply, but they do both 1.3 and 1.5ah batteries. Maybe they mostly come bundled with tools.
