Poster lists it as a Schwinn World Sport, pretty sure that’s a Varsity fork.

Did the Schwinn Varsities ever make it to the shores of the UK?

I thought the top tube said “veloregretti”.

Cost of headset far outweighing the cost of rest of bike.

The fork is a single piece of bar stock bent into a U.
40lbs in a size 21. -

Yep, with you on this. I get it's just a fashion thing but I personally think it looks rubs. I've had about one puncture in the last year on all of my bikes. I don't see the need in carrying a full size pump on my frame just to save me 5 mins when I puncture. But then I have a handlebar bag on my 'fast' road bike so I really shouldn't be trusted.

I got a very nifty, colour matched Silca frame pump included when I bought my All City on eBay. It's been attached for most of the 2000 or so KM that bike has done and I haven't used it once. If it wasn't for the increase in Instagram likes it would have been relegated to the parts box ages ago.

Yeah, I mean there's no disadvantage to carrying one but I can't see an advantage over a co2/mini pump (other than people think it looks cool, not that there's anything wrong with it). I just don't think they ever look good, and look especially silly on non steel frames but each to their own.
I just don't buy the argument that they're more 'practical' but tbf I don't audax/rando which seems to be the aesthetic they're most associated with.

@dglshrn and @itc, there is nothing wrong with a frame fitting pump, Silca or Milremo. But, colour matching of said pump is try hard shite and anything other than fitting between crossbar (fuck top tube, this is an 80s thing) and bb condemns you to the hell shared with testers who turned up sockless to a road race.

Looks at colour matched frame pump in unsuitable position nervously...

I’m pretty sure frame pumps improve the bikes aerodynamics
Currently doing a study where frame bags, frame pumps, and safety pizzas are constructed much like the fairing on an f1 car for improved speed
If it turns out to be true, as I suspect, the time saved would allow me to take more pictures of my frame pump

The listing description says it has ‘a refreshing lack of race-bike twitchiness’- could that be because you can’t turn the front wheel?

I like it
Front wheel needs red tyre for max randomness
Otherwise perfect
