I'd love an 1198s but that price range exceeds what I'm currently willing to spend on a bike. In the end, it's just a toy and an additional hobby that only makes sense if you have / make the time for it.
Haven't been on a motorbike for a while and time will tell if the love for riding is still there but it's one of those things I need to get out of my system and there's only one way to do so. Important difference will be the Italian landscape compared to the Dutch one.
I saw that vid, the front end shakes give you a good indication of the grunt this engine packs.

What I found interesting is it lifts with very little throttle, that midrange must be savage. Also agreed re the music. A test ride might make things slightly harder, in a good way ;)
