Have got quite into MLB: The Show now. Have only been playing RTTS so far as a pitcher so it's pretty mindnumbing and repetative stuff but the Pinpoint Pitch mode is extremely satisfying once I got the hang of it. I've found it a good game to play a few matches on, then switch to something else to play for a bit.

Flamelurker is an asshole if you don't have magic, I found it best to kite him around a pillar and dodge towards/past him rather than away when he does the jumps. 4-2 and 4-3 are good for farming if you want to level up a bit. 3-2 isn't too hard but the boss fucking sucks, the mechanics are just broken, try and stay near the brazier and shoot the fuckers.

Anyone following the epic case? Saw that Fortnite has taken over 9 billion in revenue, 5.5 billion profit. Imagine having that kind of money but still suing apple because you want more.

Haha yeah that's my take too.

Hadn't realised you didn't need to clear the boss again, I expect I can clear second boss without too must frustration in that case, unlock the grapple and explore whatever it is I've missed. I think there's deep sea boots required to access things I've seen glowing under water too.
The past part about this game for me is that it moves so quick and so smooth, I suspect its a solid 60fps despite being able to move at maybe 3x the speed of cod? All down to the compartmentalised level layout of course.

Flamelurker was OK in the end, just needed to sus the spacing for his ground slam attack, no dramas.
Dragon God took a minute to realise I couldn't actually hurt him!Onto 3-2 and really like Upper Latria, good fun hunting about, got to the boss, fucking twat.
Gravity has got me more than anything else in that boss room.
Will beat him tonight then 5-2 is calling! -

Nearly finished Ori and the will of the whisps, even better than the first one I think, both top notch platformers.

Isn't that because Apple took 2.7 billion just to allow people to download it?

Imagine having that kind of money but still suing apple because you want more.
Imagine having enough spare cash to buy Epic Games 7 times over but still charging them 30% of their game revenue because you want more.
(I don't have a particular strength of feeling for either company. Epic make plenty from Fortnite, Apple make plenty from the App Store fees)

When going for platinum Flamelurker was the hardest for my katana build. Despite having strong magic at the time. (This was NG+2 for PDWT trophy parts)

It's a ridiculous amount of money. Just for perspective Microsoft (Xbox), Sony, Nintendo, and Google Play store all levy 30% to use their hardware apparently.

did no one tell them they could get it for free?

Isn't that just Android OS? You can sideload on that.
IOS is a Walled Garden.

Oh yeah, Apple aren't the only 'bad apple'. 😉

look at the gameplay and combat in biomutant, which I'm getting strangely excited by.

just pre-ordered it on Xbox (had $10 voucher)... looks super cool

this looks incredible.

• #25395
lot of valks around in apex
-
• #25396
Ironically I think Valk is better for battle royal than arena mode, in a game where movement is so important being able to fly is incredibly useful.

Anyone successfully repaired a Dualshock 4 before? The L1 on mine has stopped working, took it apart but couldn't see anything obvious up with it. Baulking at the price of a new controller for one button being broken, maybe I should just hold out for a PS5, if I can ever find one in stock!

I went straight from completing Blind Forest into Will of the Whisps, worried I'd made a huge mistake at first as I struggled to adjust back to having no abilities.
So glad I didn't rage quit, what an amazing game.
I'd played the first couple of levels of Celeste before getting the new Xbox and moving to Oris, wondering if I should go back to Celeste or start Shovel Knight.

It's always a bit weird starting from scratch again with sequels but it's such a lovely flowing game.

man I wish wraith's Q worked like TF2 phase shift. it's so slow to wind up you're already half dead before you hit the phase. and then you leave a snail trail so they can just beam you on the other side. I'd personally tweak it so it was near instantaneous and it didn't have the crackle/sparkle animation as you exit phase. to balance that I'd remove the ability to see enemies in the phase and shorten the time you stay inside the phase. if shorter, you could maybe even remove the chemtrails you leave behind when inside the phase.
also they should add the CAR and the cold war from TF2 - the latter was trash but so much fun
add in wall running too please
fuck it just release TF3 already
I am keen, but Demons Souls is occupying my time (and kicking my arse)
All -1 done, 1-2, 4-2, 4-3 done.
Tried 2-2, flamelurker fucked me up, now I can't find him again.
Moved to 5-2 and a red NPC is brapping me after I get poisoned.
Going to try 3-2 tonight and see if that is any "easier"
I have a moon morning star +1 (magic, plus blunt, plus bleed) warpick +8 (pierce) and a massively overleveled bow someone dropped for me (Sticky Compound +5) that made lightwork of Adjudicator and Old Hero.
